About Membership

The Membership year is from 1st July to 30th June. Renewing members should pay their fees by 1st July of the new financial year.

New members who join the club from January to June in a financial year will pay half the annual membership fee. Those who join in the last 45 days of the financial year are required to pay to the end of the next financial year.

Members who are not financial will be removed from mailing lists and cannot vote at the AGM.

Note: If you have a vehicle on conditional registration, you must pay your membership renewal AND have your log book stamped by 30^th June in order to be able to legally drive your vehicle. The club must notify Services SA/DIT of vehicles on conditional registration for which those owners have not renewed their membership.

Your membership application will then need to be presented at the next Executive Committee Meeting (held monthly, normally on the second Tuesday) for approval.

Note: If you wish to register a vehicle on conditional registration, you need to join the club and be accepted as a member first.

Membership Fees

The fees in the MBCSA Membership table below are for new memberships and include a joining fee (currently $50 for a primary member and $25 for a secondary member)

Single Membership is for a primary member. Primary members can have vehicles on conditional registration.

Group Membership allows a primary member to add a spouse, partner, family member or close associate as a secondary member. If a secondary member wishes to receive communication from the club, then the primary member should enter their email address into the secondary member details (Note: This cannot be the same email address as the primary member). Primary and Secondary members have full voting rights.

A member of the club may join a family member who is a child as a junior member.  The junior member has no voting rights and can become a full member at the age of 18 years. PLEASE SEE MEMBER JUNGLE ADMINISTRATION TO SIGN UP A JUNIOR MEMBER

Honorary life members with full voting rights have been appointed by the Executive Committee for services rendered to the club over a period of time.
